Republic Day 2026: 982 police personnel awarded service medals; maximum gallantry decorations for J-K Police

Republic Day 2026 will see 982 personnel from police, fire, home guard, civil defence, and correctional services receive prestigious awards. This includes 125 gallantry medals for acts of bravery. Personnel from Jammu and Kashmir, Naxal-affected areas, and the North East region will be recognized. Maharashtra Police and CRPF are among the forces receiving commendations.
