Rajnath Singh, Army chief lay wreaths at war memorial to pay tributes to Kargil heroes

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and senior military officials paid homage at the Kargil War Memorial. They honored fallen heroes on the 27th anniversary of the Kargil Vijay Diwas. Three helicopters showered floral petals on the memorial during the ceremony. The Army hosted a Shaurya Sandhya event honoring soldiers' courage. This marked the 1999 victory when Indian soldiers reclaimed Kargil heights.
