RBI, ESMA ink pact on exchange of information related to central counterparties

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance cooperation and information exchange regarding Central Counterparties (CCPs). This new agreement replaces a previous one from 2017 and aims to facilitate international clearing activities while ensuring the European Union's financial stability.
