PM Modi honours Assam Movement heroes on Swahid Diwas
Assam inaugurated a memorial for 860 martyrs of the Assam Agitation. Prime Minister Narendra Modi honored those who participated in the Assam Movement, recognizing their significant contribution to India's history. Union Home Minister Amit Shah also remembered the sacrifices made. The new memorial, built at a cost of Rs 178 crore, features statues and other facilities.
