NSS to survey farm households & debt

The government plans to conduct the Situation Assessment Survey of Agricultural Households and the All India Debt & Investment Survey in 2026 as part of the 81st NSS round. These surveys aim to gather data on agricultural income, debt, assets, and investments to inform agricultural policymaking and assess farmer welfare.
