Mild tremor shakes Vijayapura in Karnataka

Vijayapura district in Karnataka experienced a mild earthquake on Tuesday morning. The tremor measured 2.9 on the Richter scale. Its epicentre was near Bhutnal Tanda. Officials confirmed the seismic event was minor and caused no damage. Residents were advised to remain calm as the intensity was low. Similar tremors have been felt in the region recently.
