Maharashtra speaker calls toll on EVs illegal; gives state 8 days to fully enforce waiver

Maharashtra Assembly Speaker Rahul Narwekar has declared wrongful toll deductions from electric vehicles (EVs) on major highways as illegal. He has mandated the state government to fully enforce the EV toll waiver within eight days and establish a refund mechanism for wrongly charged users.
