LPL rocked by bribery scandal: Indian co-owner arrested hours before tournament, accused of paying player Rs 9.5 million

Sri Lankan police arrested an Indian LPL team co-owner on Friday. He was apprehended for attempting to bribe a player with a significant sum. The player had alerted authorities about the bribery approach ten days prior. This incident occurred just before the Lanka Premier League tournament commenced.
