Kerala Budget 2026-27: Govt eyes assembly polls, announces various people-centric schemes

Kerala's Finance Minister K N Balagopal unveiled a budget for 2026-27. It promises a Rs 14,500 crore boost for pensioners and community programs. The budget also announces the 12th Pay Revision Commission and hikes for ASHA and Anganwadi workers. New schemes for women's health and autorickshaw workers are included. Pending DA and DR arrears will be cleared.
