J&K school renamed to honour sacrifice of tourist guide Adil

A government school in Hapatnar, Kashmir, has been renamed Shaheed Adil Memorial High School. This honors tourist guide Adil Hussain Shah, who died saving tourists during a 2025 attack. The renaming ceremony was attended by Minister Sakeena Itoo. Shah's bravery during the Pahalgam incident is remembered. The government aims to inspire future generations with his sacrifice.
