Iran says Saudi Arabia, Houthis have not answered mediation offer

Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi stated there has been no response to Iran's mediation offer. This offer comes after intensified Houthi strikes against Saudi Arabia earlier this month. Egypt's involvement in the conflict could escalate tensions, but it has reassured Tehran of non-intervention. A vote in the Egyptian parliament regarding military action against the Houthis has been delayed until later in October.
