Coffee Myths: Concerns about instant coffee causing cancer are largely unfounded. A Delhi-based gastroenterologist clarifies that the chemical acrylamide, present in instant coffee, is in very small amounts. Consuming eight to ten sachets daily would be needed to reach harmful levels. Two to four cups of coffee daily are generally safe for most adults. Moderate consumption may even offer health benefits.
