Install emission monitors by Dec 31 or face closure, Centre warns Delhi-NCR industries

Authorities in Delhi-NCR have been ordered to crack down on polluting industries failing to install real-time emission monitoring systems and pollution control devices by December 31. States must also finalize their 2026 air pollution control plans this month. Strict action, including closure, will be taken against non-compliant industries.
