India's first Petroglyph Conservation Park at Leh's Sindhu Ghat shaping up

Ladakh's pioneering Petroglyph Conservation Park is taking form at Sindhu Ghat, Leh. Lieutenant Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena disclosed that 31 ancient rock art pieces, some weighing as much as 10 metric tons, have been successfully relocated and preserved. This park, anticipated to open by September, aims to protect priceless chronicles of Ladakh's civilizational history and cultural identity, showcasing illustrations of local fauna and human interactions.
