Housing price index rises 4.2% in Q4 FY26: RBI

India's housing prices saw a significant rise. The All India House Price Index increased by 4.2 percent in the January-March quarter of 2025-26. This growth outpaced the previous year's expansion. Cities like Nagpur, Jaipur, Chandigarh, and Kanpur led this surge. Housing prices across Jaipur, Lucknow, and Pune also contributed to a 0.2 percent quarter-on-quarter increase.
