Himanta Biswa Sarma to take oath as Assam Chief Minister for second straight term

Himanta Biswa Sarma will be sworn in as Assam Chief Minister for a second consecutive term on Tuesday. Governor Lakshman Prasad Acharya will administer the oath at 11:40 am. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other dignitaries are expected to attend. Sarma becomes the first non-Congress leader to achieve this feat.
