Ghooskhor Pandat controversy: Why an FIR is being filed against the film and when will the movie release?

Netflixs upcoming thriller Ghooskhor Pandat faces a nationwide backlash as BSP chief Mayawati joins calls for a ban, citing the insult of the Brahmin community. Despite director Neeraj Pandey and actor Manoj Bajpayee clarifying that the film is a fictional story about a corrupt cop, an FIR has been filed in Lucknow and a petition reached the Delhi High Court. All promotional material has been taken down as the makers await a resolution.
