Even a snail may question speed at which trial is proceeding: SC on suit filed in 2015

The Supreme Court expressed concern over a commercial suit filed in 2015. Plaintiff's evidence was still ongoing as of 2026, which is very slow. The apex court dismissed an appeal by a private firm challenging a Delhi High Court order. It noted that documents were available earlier and should have been produced then. The court directed the suit to be decided as expeditiously as possible.
