Earthquake of magnitude 5.0 strikes China, emergency response underway

China earthquake: A magnitude 5.0 earthquake struck China's Sichuan region shortly after a landslide. Rescue operations concluded after 33 people were buried in Gansu province. State media reported that the death toll from the landslide rose to 21. All trapped individuals were recovered by early Wednesday morning. Seven people sustained minor injuries, and five others were unharmed.
