ED tells Supreme Court officers can approach top court under Article 32 if law and order is breached

The Enforcement Directorate has approached the Supreme Court, asserting that its officers deserve protection for their fundamental rights. Solicitor General Tushar Mehta pointed out troubling violations of the rule of law in West Bengal, citing a coal smuggling operation involving 2,700 crore.
