Democrats score Georgia governor's win as Trump unpopularity reshapes midterm contests

Democrats captured Georgia's governor's office for the first time since 1998 in the midterm elections. Keisha Lance Bottoms defeated Republican Rich Jackson, marking a historic win. Meanwhile, Republicans retained their hold in Florida as Byron Donalds won the gubernatorial race. Other closely watched contests were reported in Texas and Ohio, with vote counting still ongoing. The outcomes of these elections could significantly impact future political dynamics in the United States.
