Delhi govt okays 2,500 monthly aid for women

The Delhi government has approved the Delhi Lakshmi Yojana scheme. Eligible women will receive 2,500 monthly financial assistance starting August 1. This initiative targets women aged 18 to 60 years. Annual family income must not exceed 2.5 lakh for eligibility. The government has allocated 5,110 crore for this program.
