Delhi district courts to remain closed tomorrow as lawyers go on one-day strike against Delhi Police over Shahdara assault

In response to a violent incident involving lawyer Lalit Bansal, all district courts in Delhi will be closed on October 27 as part of a lawyer-led strike. Bansal's severe injuries have prompted a call for the suspension of certain police officials until an investigation occurs. Tensions peaked when an ACP allegedly issued threats to lawyers, making this strike a pivotal stand against police misconduct impacting the legal community.
