Delhi LG orders 20 per cent reservation for ex-Agniveers in recruitment of police constables, firemen

Delhi Lieutenant Governor Taranjit Singh Sandhu has mandated a 20 percent reservation for ex-Agniveers in Group C government jobs. This includes positions like police constables, firemen, forest guards, jail warders, and wildlife guards. The initiative aims to utilize the discipline and skills of retired short-service Army personnel. Departments must complete necessary amendments by June 30.
