DMK to study Bill on delimitation, decide matter on 'merit'

The DMK will study the proposed delimitation Bill when tabled in Parliament, and a decision will be made based on merits to protect Tamil Nadu's interests. Discussions will include a fifty per cent seat increase and retaining current seat proportions. The DMK will decide this matter independently without consulting the Congress party.
