Centre clears 5 names as judges of Supreme Court

The government has approved five new appointments to the Supreme Court. This includes four Chief Justices from various High Courts and senior advocate V Mohana. These appointments follow the recent increase in the Supreme Court's sanctioned strength. With these additions, 37 out of 38 positions in the top court are now filled.
