Can women be stripped of their religious identity after marrying outside their faith? Supreme Court to decide in inter-faith marriage case

The Supreme Court of India will examine a constitutional challenge alleging gender discrimination in Parsi personal laws. A Parsi woman's petition contests a Nagpur Parsi Panchayat rule that revokes her religious identity and denies access to religious institutions if she marries a non-Parsi, while men face no such restrictions. Notices have been issued to the Centre and other authorities.
