CBI arrests 3 in BRO fund misappropriation case

The CBI has arrested a Border Roads Organisation assistant engineer and two labour supply agents. These arrests occurred in Kargil concerning alleged misappropriation of funds in Ladakh. The assistant engineer, officer in-charge of Khaltse Batalik Sector, allegedly conspired with agents. They are accused of siphoning funds by claiming non-existent labourers were employed. The misappropriated amount was reportedly deposited into the assistant engineer's personal account.
