Budhi Gandaki flash flood sweeps away over 35 houses, bridges in Nepal's Gorkha

A flash flood in Gorkha district, Nepal, caused significant damage by sweeping away over 35 houses and several bridges. Authorities urged residents along the Budhi Gandaki River to evacuate to higher ground for safety. The flood was attributed to a possible blockage in the Syar stream, a tributary of the river. Rescue efforts were initiated with helicopters deployed for evacuations and relief distribution.
