Bengaluru techie gets Rs 61 lakh repair estimate for Mercedes-Benz after crash

An Amazon software engineer in Bengaluru has shared how a highway crash during heavy rain led to a Rs 61 lakh repair estimate for his Mercedes-Benz, nearly matching the cars original cost. Adam Rizk said the vehicle crossed a divider and landed in the opposite lane, although he escaped without major injuries. He later said the car was considered a total loss and that insurance would provide a cash payout rather than cover the repairs.
