45 warships will be delivered in 3-4 years, approval given for 195 naval vessels: Vice Admiral Sanjay Vatsyan

The Indian Navy has said around 45 ships are currently under construction in the country and will be delivered over the next 34 years, signalling a major expansion of indigenous naval capability. Vice Admiral Sanjay Vatsyan announced in Kolkata that the Navy has also received in-principle approval for 195 future vessels, including 69 ships, six submarines and 120 fast interceptor crafts.
