22 Maoists surrender in Odisha's Malkangiri
Twenty-two Maoists have surrendered to police in Odisha's Malkangiri district. They handed over nine firearms and 150 live rounds. Explosives and improvised explosive devices were also surrendered. Most of these Maoists operated in Odisha but hailed from Chhattisgarh. The Odisha government recently revised its surrender policy, increasing rewards.
