Tamil Nadu adds 100 MBBS seats, first increase in five years

Two government medical colleges in Tamil Nadu will increase their MBBS intake by fifty seats. This expansion will raise the total government medical college seats across the state to 5,150. The National Medical Commission has approved these additional seats for the upcoming academic year. This marks the first government seat expansion in five years, benefiting meritorious students. More government school students will also benefit from the existing reservation policy.
