'Not waking up on time for school': Tamil Nadu man brands his 10 year-old son with hot knife in Vellore; arrested

A father in Vellore has been arrested for branding his 10-year-old son with a hot knife after the child refused to wake up for school. The farmer, identified as N Poovarasan, allegedly used the heated knife on the boy's body to vent his anger. Neighbours reported frequent abuse, and the child is currently receiving treatment at Gudiyatham GH.
