Chennai-Madurai sleeper bus catches fire on highway, no injuries reported

A private sleeper bus traveling from Chennai to Madurai caught fire on the highway. All twenty-three passengers evacuated the vehicle safely before flames engulfed it. The driver spotted smoke and immediately stopped the bus, alerting sleeping passengers. Firefighters arrived and controlled the blaze, which completely destroyed the bus. Authorities arranged alternative transport for passengers and cleared the highway.
