National Institute of Ocean Technology to install high-frequency radar along Karaikal coast

The HF radar station in Karaikal will operate in pairing mode with the existing station at Cuddalore, thereby improving the accuracy and resolution of coastal current measurements in the region, said NIOT Director Balaji Ramakrishnan.
