NASAs Artemis II completes test mission, travels farthest ever from Earth

NASAs Artemis II mission ended with a safe splashdown off the California coast, marking the first crewed journey to the Moons vicinity in over 50 years. The four astronauts spent nearly 10 days in space and travelled farther from Earth than any humans before. The mission is a key step in NASAs Artemis programme, which aims to return humans to the Moon in the coming years.
