A local cricket umpire, Dola Ajith Babu, was tragically stabbed to death in Visakhapatnam following a dispute over a run-out decision. The incident escalated when a spectator, allegedly under the influence of alcohol, attacked Babu and another umpire after an earlier argument was settled. Babu succumbed to his injuries despite efforts to save him.
