Dead prez's name on Rs 1.96 cr invoice! Odisha Association faces allegation

The Odisha Gymnastics Association is facing scrutiny for allegedly using deceased former president Samir Deys name on official documents and invoices linked to the 2026 National Gymnastics Championships. A complaint questioned funding approvals worth crores despite Deys death in 2024. The association blamed outdated letterheads, while the complaint also raised concerns over dual funding, transparency and the lack of elections for nearly 20 years.
