Simon Harmer made headlines with an impressive 82 in the second Test against Australia, eclipsing the previous record of 76 runs held by Dale Steyn for South African No. 9 batsmen. His performance was vital in rescuing South Africa from a challenging position of 110-6. Partnering with Temba Bavuma, their formidable eighth-wicket alliance totaled 183 runs.
