Supreme Court stays Madras HC order restraining TVK MLA from participating in floor test

The Supreme Court has halted a Madras High Court decision that barred TVK MLA R Sreenivasa Sethupathi from a floor test. The apex court found the high court's action unusual. Sethupathi had narrowly won his seat against a DMK leader. The Tamil Nadu government subsequently won its vote of confidence.
