IPL 2026 Schedule: Tournament to be played in two phases, BCCI secretary Devajit Saikia provides big update

The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 is set to commence on March 28, with the initial 20-day schedule to be released shortly, factoring in state assembly elections. Defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru will play some home matches at their traditional Chinnaswamy Stadium, which will also host the IPL final and a playoff game.
