Spotify Launches Phone-Free App for Cars

Spotify has introduced a new app designed specifically for cars , allowing drivers and passengers to stream music, listen to podcasts, and access playlists without connecting a smartphone. The app runs directly on Android Automotive , giving users a more seamless listening experience through their cars built-in infotainment system. The company reports that 34% of its monthly active users and 77% of Premium subscribers listen to Spotify while traveling by car.
