Idaho's closed horse track reopens as $42m public park with restored wetlands

In a remarkable redevelopment initiative, Garden City, Idaho, has repurposed the old Les Bois horse-racing track into a vibrant public park, spanning nearly 50 acres. Known as the Park at Expo Idaho, it features diverse landscapes including wetlands and nature trails, alongside recreational facilities like a newly designed skate park. This transformation promotes outdoor activities and ecological restoration while already drawing in local wildlife.
