Govt considers raising EPFO monthly wage cap to Rs 25k-30k; current Rs 15k ceiling fixed in Sept 2014

A proposal to raise the Employees Provident Fund Organisation's monthly wage ceiling beyond Rs 15,000 is back on the table, with suggestions for an increase to Rs 25,000-30,000.
