From 'Indira Gandhi' to 'PM': Cabinet takes up proposal to rename 4 pension schemes

By prefixing these initiatives linked to pensions for the elderly, widows, and disabled individuals with 'PM', the administration seeks to modernize their appeal. Notably, the National Social Assistance Programme will be renamed PM Shayata Yojna to reinforce this updated branding strategy.
