Did strategic mistrust prompt Germany to pull out of Boeing's Ghost Bat deal

Germany has informed Boeing it will not buy the MQ-28 Ghost Bat drone as it adjusts its plans. The country is looking to acquire F-35 fighter jets while delaying its uncrewed combat aircraft program to early 2030s. Other companies are emerging as competitors, offering alternative drone solutions by 2029. This shift reflects ongoing discussions on military procurement and strategic autonomy amid increasing global security concerns.
