Congress tells Rijiju it won't join Parliament Joint Committee on bills to oust jailed CMs, ministers

The Congress, along with other opposition parties, will boycott the joint parliamentary committee examining three bills that propose removing government functionaries arrested for 30 consecutive days on serious charges. This decision was conveyed to Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju, with parties like TMC, AAP, and Shiv Sena (UBT) already declaring their non-participation.
