BJP replaces Bihar's Bankipur bypoll candidate: What forced the saffron party to change its nominee hours after filing nomination?

The Bharatiya Janata Party changed its Bankipur bypoll candidate after Abhishek Kumar Sinha withdrew. Neeraj Kumar Sinha was named the new nominee by the party's central election committee. Opposition parties alleged the BJP feared public anger and was concerned about its election prospects. Prashant Kishor stated the move admitted the BJP fields corrupt people.
