Canara Bank Q1 net profit rises marginally to 4,856 cr; eyes $1.3 billion via FCNR deposits

The bank's asset quality showed improvement as gross non-performing assets (NPAs) declined to 1.5% of gross advances at the end of the June quarter, from 2.69% a year ago.
